#937: A Bank Holiday Trip to Templehof Airport

An out and out statement of Third Reich power, Berlin’s Tempelhof Airport was built in the 1920s and 30s and served as the main flight route in and out of the German capital. Superseded and closed in 2008, the terminal building stands proud and true, hosting various events and companies, while the huge airfield is not a park and gathering space for the city’s inhabitants.
